Barker-Mill Estates understands the importance of being able to live and grow within the same community. Through its efforts, Barker-Mill Estates endeavours to deliver homes so that people can remain close to their families and enjoy all the things they are used to in the community in which they grew up in.
To be able to assist in meeting local housing needs, over the years the Barker-Mill Trustees have worked alongside several property organisations to deliver local homes – for both sale and rent. Developers including Bloor Homes and Bargate Homes have purchased land from the Estate. The Fen Meadow residential development and Walnut Place at Nursling were built on land previously owned by the Estate.
The Trustees of the Barker-Mill Estate own the company Longdown Management Limited which manages and maintains the Estate’s portfolio of residential property, commercial units, farmland and grazing land.
